Assistant Director – Transformation Delivery

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Lead end-to-end delivery of transformation initiatives across front, middle and back office domains
• Independently manage project lifecycle from problem framing, requirements gathering, solution design through to implementation
• Operate flexibly across both structured programmes and ad-hoc, low-budget initiatives requiring rapid turnaround
• Actively double-hat as Business Analyst to elicit, challenge and refine business requirements.
• Apply structured thinking to break down ambiguous problems and develop practical, decision-ready recommendations
• Build strong relationships and influence senior stakeholders across functions and markets
• Communicate clearly and effectively, producing executive-ready updates, papers and presentations
• Ensure strong delivery discipline including planning, tracking, governance and risk management according to the firms Transformation execution standards.
• Drive benefits realisation and challenge assumptions to ensure measurable business outcomes
• Leverage AI and digital tools to improve analysis, productivity and delivery efficiency
• Support change management and ensure solutions are adopted and embedded effectively
• Act as a trusted partner to business stakeholders, providing strategic input beyond execution

CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES

• Strong structured thinking and problem-solving capability, able to navigate ambiguity and synthesize complex information
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across seniority levels
• Proven ability to deliver across multiple domains within investment management
• Strong front-to-back understanding of asset management products, processes and operating model
• Demonstrates high ownership, accountability and delivery discipline
• Strong communication skills with ability to create clear,concise and impactful narratives
• Digital-first mindset with practical application of AI tools(e.g. for analysis, documentation, synthesis)
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
• Comfortable managing both large-scale programmes and small,fast-paced initiatives
• Adaptable, proactive and able to work effectively in a fast-changing environment
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of business case and value delivery

EXPERIENCE

• 10–15+ years of experience in project management and/or business analysis within asset management, capital markets or financial services
• Experience gained within buy-side, sell-side, or leading consulting firms
• Demonstrated track record of delivering complex change initiatives end-to-end
• Experience working across multiple geographies and stakeholders
• Exposure to operating model transformation, digital initiatives or platform implementations is advantageous

EDUCATION /QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Project Management certification (PMP, Prince2) preferred but not mandatory
• Relevant certifications in Business Analysis, Agile or Digital/AI are advantageous
