Wealth Holdings Shipping Pte. Ltd. (“WHSPL”) is a Singapore-based dry bulk and general cargo shipping company established in 2021. It operates vessels across Southeast Asia, South America, the Middle East, and Europe etc.

Job Summary

The Shipping Operations Supervisor oversees voyage execution, documentation, and stakeholder coordination to ensure compliance with charter party terms, smooth cargo operations, and effective communication in dry bulk shipping.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the company’s daily shipping and vessel operations, ensuring compliance with charter party agreements to maintain operational and contractual accuracy
• Work closely with shipowners, charterers, ship agents, terminals, customers and other stakeholders on required activities
• Monitor and follow-up vessel schedules, port activities, cargo movements and operational requirements to smooth execution
• Ensure shipping documentation and operational procedures are completed accurately, on time and support legal compliance
• Identify operational issues, coordinate solutions and follow through to timely resolution
• Supervise, support and provide guidance to shipping operations team
• Maintain clear and effective communication with customers, agents and business partners
• Maintain voyage cost records and update profit and loss statements in the required system for financial oversight
• Prepare operational reports and provide timely updates to management
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and applicable maritime, port and operational requirements
• Contribute to continuous improvements in shipping workflows, coordination processes and service delivery.
• Collaborate with P&I clubs and legal teams to resolve disputes and mitigate operational risks

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor degree in Business, Economics, or Maritime Studies or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in shipping, maritime or dry bulk operations.
• Good knowledge of shipping, port and cargo operations.
• Strong coordination, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills to ensure effective voyage management
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and supervise team
• Proactive, detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-pace operational environment
• Good command of English and Chinese (spoken and written)
