Job Summary

Join Grade Solution as an English teacher or tutor for Primary and Secondary levels, delivering engaging lessons with personalized feedback. Teach online or at our Marine Parade centre, leveraging Edtech and AI tools to enhance student learning outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver English lessons to Primary and Secondary students, adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs and improve student understanding
• Mark students’ work accurately and provide constructive feedback to support continuous learning progress
• Communicate lesson objectives and progress clearly to students to foster engagement and motivation
• Maintain firm but nurturing classroom management to create a positive and disciplined learning environment
• Collaborate with the team to utilize AI-driven learning tools that identify and address student learning gaps
• Participate in creating and appearing in social media videos to promote the learning centre and engage the community
• Manage teaching schedules efficiently to conduct 10 classes per week within designated working hours
• Demonstrate stamina and determination to sustain high-quality teaching performance consistently

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience in English for both Primary and Secondary levels
• Familiarity with the Singapore syllabus to ensure curriculum alignment and relevance

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Ability to balance firmness and nurturing in student interactions to maintain discipline while supporting growth
• Effective communication skills to explain concepts clearly and engage students actively
• Dependability and responsibility in managing teaching duties and administrative tasks

Other Information

Location:

• Online Classes (Work from home)
• Physical Classes (Marine Parade)

Working Hours:

• Weekdays: 1pm to 9pm
• Weekends: 8.30am to 4.30pm
• Teach 10 classes per week

Salary Range:

• Full-timers: $4,500 - $6,000
• Full-time staff receive 1 weekday and 1 weekend off

Selection Process:

• Candidates must complete a test via email, followed by a mock lesson and interview
