About the role

Indicon is looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented person to join the Quality Team. This is a tight-knit, cross-functional group motivated by excellence and teamwork. It is the job of our Verification/Inspection Team to ensure that our finished products meet customer specifications as well as our own internal expectations. This is an entry point for the Indicon Quality Team. We work to consistently make things better.

Key responsibilities

• Follow and adhere to Quality processes

• Read drawings, wire lists and bills of materials (BOMs)

• Install pre-labeled harnesses using Work Instructions

• Perform basic visual inspection, verify proper torque (when needed), and apply proper torque marks (when needed)

• Fill out Quality Checklists and the Inspection Data Base

• Respond to Production Line calls for Quality concerns or needs

• Identify deficiencies, record them properly, and request Rework as needed

• Follow up with the appropriate channels when concerns are identified

• Communicate with other team members to solve problems

About you

• Ability to communicate effectively in English (speak, read, write)

• Effective communication, active listening, interpersonal, and writing skills

• Problem solving with analytical and decision-making skills

• Good understanding of – or ability to learn – Teams, Excel, Outlook

• Detail-oriented and solution-focused

• Flexibility to juggle multiple tasks and calls

• Physical abilities: reaching, sitting, twisting, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, feeling, repetitive motions, talking, hearing and visual acuity
