ROLE PURPOSE

The Chief Transformation Officer is a senior executive leadership role responsible for developing, planning, and executing the overall business transformation initiatives and activities of the EYS Group. The incumbent will drive the Group’s strategic transformation agenda — spanning organisational design, digital innovation, operational excellence, and change management — to future-proof EYS and accelerate its growth across all markets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Transformation Strategy & Planning

• Develop and lead the Group’s over arching business transformation strategy, aligned with EYS’s long-term vision and commercial objectives.

• Define the transformation roadmap, prioritising initiatives that deliver sustainable value, operational efficiency, and competitive advantage.

• Translate the Group’s strategic goals into actionable transformation programmes across business units and geographies.

• Monitor global trends, emerging technologies, and industry disruptions to continuously evolve the transformation agenda.

2. Programme Execution & Delivery

• Oversee end-to-end planning and execution of Group-wide transformation programmes, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budget.

• Establish robust programme governance frameworks, including milestones, KPIs, risk registers, and reporting mechanisms.

• Drive cross-functional alignment across business units, enabling seamless integration of transformation initiatives into day-to-day operations.

• Track, measure, and report programme performance to the Group leadership and Board, applying insights to continuously improve outcomes.

3. Digital & Innovation Agenda

• Support the Group’s digital transformation efforts, including technology adoption, data-driven decision-making, and digitisation of customer and operational experiences.

• Identify and evaluate emerging technologies, platforms, and innovation opportunities that can accelerate the Group’s transformation.

• Collaborate with the technology, digital, and data teams to ensure transformation initiatives are underpinned by scalable and future-ready infrastructure.

• Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation across the Group.

4. Change Management & Organisational Readiness

• Lead change management strategies to ensure organisation-wide buy-in, adoption, and sustainability of transformation initiatives.

• Work to build the capabilities, culture, and structures of the company needed to support the transformation journey.

• Communicate transformation progress, benefits, and impact clearly and compellingly to internal and external stakeholders.

• Address resistance to change proactively, building confidence and momentum across all levels of the organisation.

5. Stakeholder Engagement & Strategic Partnerships

• Engage and align senior leadership, Board members, and key stakeholders on transformation priorities, progress, and outcomes.

• Build and manage strategic partnerships with external consultants, technology partners, government agencies, and industry bodies in support of the transformation agenda.

• Represent EYS externally at industry forums, conferences, and stakeholder engagements as a thought leader in business transformation.

• Lead negotiations and manage partnership agreements from inception through to activation and review.

6. Team Leadership & Capability Building

• Lead, mentor, and develop ahigh-performing transformation team across the Group.

• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, agility, and continuous improvement within the team.

• Champion adoption of best-in-class transformation methodologies, tools, and practices across the organisation.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• MBA or postgraduate qualification is an advantage.

• Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in business transformation, strategy, or management consulting, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership capacity.

• Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale transformation programmes in the Retail, FMCG, Healthcare, or Wellness industry.

• Demonstrated experience managing multi-market or regional transformation functions.

• Strong portfolio of delivered transformation outcomes, including digital initiatives, operational restructuring, and change management programmes.

• Visionary strategic thinker with the ability to translate long-term ambitions into executable transformation plans.

• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder programmes.

• Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills at Board and C-suite level.

• Data-driven approach to decision-making; proficient in performance measurement and programme analytics.

• Deep knowledge of change management methodologies (e.g. Kotter, Prosci) and transformation frameworks.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; able to inspire and align diverse audiences.

• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and large-scale programmes simultaneously.

• Proficiency in digital transformation tools, project management platforms, and enterprise technologies.

• Bilingual in English and Mandarin is an advantage, given the Group’s regional presence.
