Junior Engineer

We are seeking aJunior Engineer to join Nidec SV Probe Pte Ltd in Singapore. You will supportprobe card rework, repair, testing, troubleshooting, and technical support,working closely with Production, Sales, Design Engineering, and QC teams.

The role alsoinvolves on-site customer support and provides opportunities to develop yourtechnical knowledge and experience in the semiconductor and probe cardindustry.

Job Requirments:

· Minimum Nitec or Diploma in Engineering, Electronics,Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.

· Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in probe cardmanufacturing, semiconductor manufacturing, or a related industry.

· Experience in probe card repair, rework, testing,troubleshooting, or customer technical support will be an advantage.

· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PDF applications,and general computer operating systems.

· Bilingual in English and Mandarin, with good writtenand verbal communication skills.

· Able to follow safety regulations, standard operatingprocedures, and quality requirements.

· Able to work effectively both independently and aspart of a team.

· Willing to travel for business and provide on-sitecustomer support when required.

· Salary will be commensurate with experience andqualifications.

Areas of Responsibility:

· Perform analysis of customer-returned and rejectedprobe cards upon return from customers and advise Production on the appropriaterepair actions.

· Determine and advise whether rework is justified orwhether chargeable repair/rebuild is required.

· Perform rework activities, testing, and inspectionsupon completion of rework.

· Maintain monthly summary records of probe card reworkand repair history.

· Assist the Production team with daily manufacturingand technical activities.

· Provide on-site technical support and troubleshootingat customer locations to resolve technical issues and provide solutions forvarious customer-specific applications.

· Prepare and maintain Field Service Reports followingon-site customer support.

· Support the Sales team on customer requirements,product specifications, and quality-related issues.

· Develop and conduct product demonstrations and provideapplication support to customers.

· Support Design Engineering and QC in investigating andresolving quality issues.

· Provide on-the-job training and technical guidance tocustomers.

· Perform periodic maintenance of internal machines andequipment.

· Stay updated on new product knowledge, applications,and troubleshooting techniques, and continuously develop relevant technicalskills.
