Trade Product Sales Manager

Job Description:

• To be responsible for developing Forfaiting and trade finance business in terms of trade distribution and FI trade sales, but not limited to FI risks (corporate risks etc)

• To ensure the formulation of business development plans and the implementation of these plans

• Maintain and develop good relationships with our FI customers and BOC networks

• To set-up new products according to the needs of the customers

• To ensure marketing activities are carried out effectively aligned with Bank’s strategies

• To ensure business target can be achieved

• To streamline the distribution process and build up an effective distribution system

• To ensure team operation in line with internal and external regulatory rules and regulations

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Finance, Accounting or Banking preferred.

• Familiar with trade settlement products such as LC, collection, LG and other trade finance products, trade asset distribution experience in corporate risk, factoring, supply chain finance, structure trade finance would be an added advantage.

• Corporate banking/Transaction banking background with 8-12 years of such experience. At least 3-4 years of experience in relationship management in the financial industry, with a focus on Financial Institutions. (Excellent candidate can consider 3-5 years trade finance product sales experience)

• Need to have initiative to meet sales numbers.

• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure within tight timelines.

• Detail and target oriented with strong execution competence.

• Self-discipline, prompt response, high efficient working manner.

• Demonstrate ability to work independently.

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

• Some travels will be required.

• Effectively bilingual in English and Chinese language is an advantage so as to communicate effectively with our China counterpart and Chinese-speaking customers.
