Technician (Automotive)

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Responsible to conduct maintenance service and repair of heavy vehicle like buses.

2. Carry out preventive maintenance / corrective maintenance on electric vehicle components to ensure optimal performance and safety.

3. Managing and maintaining high-voltage battery systems, including monitoring battery health, balancing cells, and performing capacity tests.

4. Updating and calibrating the vehicle's control systems, ensuring they are running the latest software for optimal performance.

5. Ensuring all electrical systems and components meet safety standards and regulations set by relevant authorities.

6. Maintaining detailed records of repairs, maintenance tasks, and inspections performed on each vehicle.

7. 9Ensure work bay, workstation and hand tools maintain and organized in satisfactory condition.

8. Any other tasks assigned by supervisor.

Qualification & Experience:

1. ITE NTC 3/2 or Nitec in Automotive Technology (Heavy Vehicle).

2. 2-3 years’ experience in automotive trade, heavy vehicle repair & maintenance would be an added advantage.

3. Experience in operating common workshop tools (e.g. Air Jack, Hoist, wheel balancing machine etc).

4. Team Player.

5. Possess work related licences, would be an added advantage (e.g. WAH, Rigger & Signalman, Fork Lift, Singapore Driving Class 3/4).
