The Role

• Lead and deliver Financial Services Risk & Compliance engagements across banking, insurance, asset management and fintech clients.
• Advise clients on regulatory compliance, financial crime compliance and evolving regulatory requirements.
• Manage AML/CFT, KYC/CDD, sanctions, transaction monitoring and remediation programmes.
• Lead regulatory reviews, risk assessments, compliance audits and control effectiveness assessments.
• Design and implement compliance frameworks, policies, procedures and governance structures.
• Support clients through regulatory inspections, remediation exercises and regulatory change initiatives.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, regulators and key decision makers.
• Oversee project delivery, resource planning, quality assurance and engagement profitability.
• Mentor, coach and develop Consultants, Senior Consultants and Managers within the practice.
• Contribute to business development activities, proposal writing and client presentations.
• Identify emerging industry trends and develop innovative solutions to address client needs.
• Partner with regional and global teams to deliver complex cross-border engagements.
• Champion technology-enabled risk and compliance solutions, including data analytics and RegTech initiatives.
• Play a key role in building and growing a high-performing Financial Services Risk & Compliance practice.
• Act as a trusted advisor to C-suite and senior executives on regulatory, risk and compliance transformation priorities.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a related discipline.
• 8-15 years of experience within Financial Services Risk & Compliance, Regulatory Compliance, Financial Crime Compliance, Internal Audit or Risk Advisory.
• Experience gained within consulting firms, financial institutions, regulators or a combination of both.
• Strong knowledge of AML/CFT, KYC/CDD, sanctions, transaction monitoring and financial crime risk management.

• Solid understanding of MAS regulations and the Singapore financial services regulatory landscape.
• Proven track record leading complex risk, compliance, remediation or transformation projects.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience engaging senior business leaders and client executives.

• Demonstrated people leadership experience, including coaching, mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
• Commercially minded with the ability to contribute to business development, proposal writing and practice growth initiatives.

• Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical business solutions.
