Air Freight Operations Officer (Logistics/West/4k/5 days)

Responsibilities:

• Independent handling of shipments in the field of Airfreight Import in accordance with our quality standards (among other things documentation, booking, shipment control, transport insurance, accounting, customs handling)
• Communication with carriers and subcontractors.
• Follow up daily shipments orders and prepare full set of export documents
• Customer support and services.
• Handling Pre-Alert to destination offices/agents.
• Offer preparation and tracking.
• Handling of complaints.
• Issue invoices and supporting documents to customers and agents.
• Check job costing for every file handled and ensure no loss.
• Communication with our branch offices.
• Handling of import customs issues.
• Perform any other related tasks as required or assigned by manager.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Airfreight Import operations, including documentation, customs clearance, and shipment coordination.
• Familiarity with airway bills, customs regulations, and freight forwarding processes.
• Ability to prepare and verify export documents accurately.
• Ability to liaise with carriers, agents, and customers professionally.
• Experience in handling customer complaints and providing solutions.
