Accountant
An established manufacturing organisation is seeking a hands-on Accountant to manage full-set accounting activities and support day-to-day financial operations. The role will cover financial reporting, cash flow management, accounts payable, intercompany transactions, and fixed asset accounting, with opportunities to contribute to strong financial controls and efficient finance processes.
Some of the key responsibilities will include:
• Manage the full set of accounts, including month-end closing, audit schedules, financial reporting, and preparation of reporting packages.
• Review accounts payable transactions, invoice postings, payment processing, and employee claims to ensure accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
• Manage intercompany billings, transactions, reconciliations, and related accounting entries across the Group.
• Monitor daily cash positions, maintain accurate cash records, and prepare regular cash flow reports to support liquidity management.
• Maintain fixed asset records, including additions, disposals, depreciation schedules, and related accounting entries.
• Ensure financial transactions are accurately recorded and properly supported in accordance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Support external audits and provide relevant schedules, documentation, and financial information as required.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in accounting processes, reporting procedures, and finance operations.
To be eligible for this role you will require:
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• At least 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience with exposure to full-set accounting and financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, month-end closing, reconciliations, and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience in accounts payable, cash flow management, intercompany accounting, and fixed asset accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, together with experience using ERP or accounting systems such as Oracle NetSuite or similar platforms.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
