Housekeeping Room Attendant

We are looking for a responsible and hardworking Housekeeping Attendant to join our Hospitality team. You will play an important role in ensuring our guest rooms and common areas are clean, comfortable and welcoming for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and make up guest rooms according to established housekeeping standards.
• Change bed linen, make beds and replenish towels, toiletries and guest amenities.
• Clean bathrooms, vacuum/mop floors, dust furniture and maintain the overall cleanliness of guest rooms.
• Attend to stay-over rooms, check-out rooms and day-use rooms as assigned.
• Clear rubbish and perform other housekeeping duties according to the daily room assignment.
• Ensure housekeeping trolley, equipment and cleaning supplies are properly maintained and replenished.
• Report defects, damages, lost-and-found items or unusual situations promptly to the Supervisor.
• Assist with the cleanliness of common and public areas when required.

Requirements

• Prior housekeeping or hotel experience would be an advantage, but training will be provided.
• Able to perform physically demanding duties, including standing, walking, bending and lifting during the shift.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Responsible, punctual and attentive to cleanliness and details.
• Able to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
• Basic English communication skills.
