Executive - Children Programme

Join our Active Community Transformation Service Division and play a part in creating meaningful experiences for children through engaging outreach programmes.
As an Executive, Children Programme, you will plan and deliver activities ranging from outdoor adventures and sports to arts and crafts, with a focus on social-emotional learning. You will work with children, volunteers and community partners to create safe, inclusive and enriching experiences that support children's growth and development.
Responsibilities:
- Researches, plans, executes and implements children’s outreach programme through sports, outdoor activities, arts and craft in area of social-emotional learning and relevant developmental needs
- Assists in evaluating programme quality and impact
- Recruits and supervises instructors and volunteers to ensure sufficient and effective programme execution
- Plans, conducts and coordinates orientation and training for instructors and volunteers accordingly
- Works closely with supervisor and resource development team to build, establish, coordinate and manage effective working relationships with stakeholders for funding, regulatory, volunteerism and outreach work, e.g., community partners, government agencies, volunteer-related agencies, funders and donors
- Assists in the planning, coordination and execution of roadshows and fund-raising activities for the division as well as raising community awareness of programmes
- Ensures that all administration work, like maintaining accurate records, information and database related to our beneficiaries, instructors, volunteers and partners, is captured, correctly updated and easily accessible and kept as intellectual properties of the Association
- Collects, updates and analyses information and data for reporting and evaluation purposes
Pre-Requisites
- Diploma or Degree holder
- Preferably 1-2 years of experience working with children, youth, community programmes or related activities
- Comfortable engaging and facilitating activities for children of different ages and backgrounds
- Experience in sports and community services(programmes or events) with schools and community agencies/homes will be advantageous
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with colleagues, volunteers and community partners
- Willing to work outside regular office hours, including some evenings and weekends, when required for programmes and events
- Passion for working with children and contributing to their social-emotional development and well-being
