Engineering Director

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute engineering strategies aligned with business goals and growth plans.
• Lead, mentor, and develop engineering teams to drive technical excellence and innovation.
• Oversee product development, engineering projects, and new product introduction (NPI) activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development and customer satisfaction.
• Drive process improvements, productivity, quality, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Support customer engagements by providing technical leadership and engineering solutions.
• Manage engineering resources, budgets, project timelines, and performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, quality requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks while supporting business continuity and operational efficiency.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Semiconductor Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of engineering experience and leadership or management role.
• Experience in the semiconductor, electronics manufacturing, advanced technology, or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, product development, and engineering operations.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex engineering projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities.
• Proficiency in engineering tools, project management methodologies, and data-driven decision-making.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor packaging, testing, wafer fabrication, or advanced manufacturing technologies.
• Experience in NPI, process optimization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Willing to work in the East Region, Changi North Crescent.
