Job summary

UrbanBridge Logistics Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Head of Logistics Operations to provide strategic and operational leadership for its warehouse and logistics-service activities.

The successful candidate will be accountable for operational performance, client-service delivery, financial management, workforce planning, compliance and business expansion. This is a senior leadership position requiring extensive experience managing complex logistics operations and client accounts.

Key responsibilities

* Lead the company’s overall logistics and warehouse-service operations.

* Establish operational strategies, service standards and performance targets.

* Take responsibility for operating budgets, cost control, productivity and profitability.

* Oversee multiple client operations and ensure contractual service levels are achieved.

* Develop workforce, equipment and resource plans based on operational requirements.

* Lead operational mobilisation for new clients, sites and service contracts.

* Review operational data and implement productivity and cost-improvement programmes.

* Develop standard operating procedures, reporting systems and service-quality controls.

* Manage senior relationships with clients, vendors, contractors and business partners.

* Participate in commercial negotiations, contract reviews and major client proposals.

* Identify operational risks and establish business-continuity and contingency plans.

* Ensure compliance with workplace safety, employment and client-site requirements.

* Recruit, manage and develop operations managers, supervisors and employees.

* Prepare operational and financial reports for company management.

* Support business growth by developing scalable logistics capabilities and service offerings.

Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or a related discipline.

* At least 3 years of relevant logistics, warehousing or supply-chain experience.

* Proven experience overseeing multiple logistics operations or major client accounts.

* Strong experience in budgeting, cost control, workforce planning and performance management.

* Experience managing client contracts and implementing new logistics operations.

* Strong leadership, commercial, negotiation and problem-solving abilities.

* Sound knowledge of workplace safety and logistics-operational compliance.

* Strong analytical and operational-reporting skills.

* Able to travel between client and operational locations within Singapore.
