What this job involves:

We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join JLL Singapore’s Project & Development Services (PDS) team supporting manufacturing and life sciences projects. This role focuses on workplace fit-out, refurbishment, A&A, and project delivery within operational manufacturing and semi-conductor environments. You will support the end-to-end management of projects from planning through completion, working closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful delivery across schedule, budget, quality, and safety objectives.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Support the delivery of multiple workplace fit-out, refurbishment, and construction projects across manufacturing and life sciences environments.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation including project delivery plans, meeting minutes, monthly status reports, cost reports, and risk registers.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, procurement activities, and variation management processes.
• Support tendering activities including RFP preparation, scope writing, and vendor evaluations.
• Participate in project meetings, site coordination activities, progress tracking, and issue resolution.
• Assist with project close-out activities including handover documentation, financial close-out, and defect management.

Required Qualifications:

• Degree or diploma in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Facilities Management, Architecture, or related discipline.
• Approximately 2–3 years of relevant experience within workplace fit-out, project coordination, construction, or project management environments.
• Exposure to corporate fit-out, refurbishment, A&A, or workplace project delivery.
• Understanding of project management fundamentals including scheduling, budgeting, contractor coordination, and stakeholder management.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with ability to work across multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting projects within manufacturing, life sciences, or semi-conductor environments.
• Exposure to consultancy or client-side project management environments.
• Familiarity with contract administration, tendering, procurement, and variation management processes.
• Knowledge of project delivery methodologies and construction management practices.
• Exposure to live operational environments and phased project execution.
• Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental compliance requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently within fast-paced environments.
