Finance/Accounting Executive - Full Set of Accounting

Recruit123 is helping our client to hire an Accounts Executive to join their finance team.

Our client is a growing Singapore-based company looking for a meticulous and experienced Accounts Executive to manage full sets of accounts and support the finance function's day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle full set of accounts, including AP, AR, and general ledger entries
• Perform bank reconciliation and ensure accuracy of financial transactions
• Prepare and submit GST reconciliation and filings in compliance with IRAS requirements
• Process payroll, CPF contributions, and related statutory payments in a timely and accurate manner
• Manage month-end and year-end closing, including preparation of management reports
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and company secretary on audit, tax filing, and compliance matters
• Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and relevant statutory requirements
• Support budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and financial analysis as needed
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records
• Assist with ad-hoc finance projects and process improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably handling full sets of accounts
• Hands-on experience with AP/AR, bank reconciliation, and GST reconciliation
• Experience processing payroll and CPF-related payments
• Familiar with month-end closing procedures and management reporting
• Prior experience liaising with auditors and tax agents
• Good working knowledge of Singapore accounting requirements and statutory compliance
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB, or SAP) and Microsoft Excel
• Meticulous, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
