Assistant Senior Social Worker

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Assistant Senior Social Worker to join our Family Service Centre team. In this role, you will provide casework and counselling services, lead programmes, engage community stakeholders, and support the development of junior social work professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide casework, counselling, information and referral services to individuals and families.
• Manage and support clients with complex psychosocial needs.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate group work and community programmes.
• Collaborate with community partners and stakeholders to enhance service delivery.
• Supervise and mentor junior social workers, interns, and support staff.
• Maintain timely and accurate case documentation in accordance with professional and organisational standards.

Requirements

• Possess a recognised Degree or Graduate Diploma in Social Work recognised for Social Work practice in Singapore.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant social work experience, preferably in a Family Service Centre or community-based setting.
• At least 2–3 years of experience providing supervision, mentoring, or guidance to junior social workers, social work associates, interns, or students.
• Strong casework, counselling, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and report-writing abilities.
• A team player who is self-motivated and committed to serving vulnerable individuals and families.
