ROLE PURPOSE

The Environmental Management Consultant will support Ecoflow’s delivery of practical, measurable sustainability outcomes across HVAC energy efficiency and water management projects. The role combines technical site assessment, environmental performance analysis, solution development, project coordination, measurement and verification, and client advisory. The Consultant will work across commercial, industrial, and institutional sites to identify efficiency opportunities, support implementation, and translate technical findings into clear operational and business recommendations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. HVAC Energy & Environmental Performance

•Conduct site assessments of HVAC systems, including chillers, pumps, cooling towers, air-conditioning systems, and associated plant equipment.

•Review operating data such as energy consumption, cooling load, temperatures, flow rates, equipment runtime, system efficiency, and relevant environmental parameters.

•Identify opportunities to improve HVAC energy efficiency, plant optimisation, equipment performance and overall resource productivity.

•Support baseline development, post-implementation analysis, and measurement & verification of energy-saving initiatives.

•Assist in evaluating sustainability technologies and operational improvements for HVAC applications, including solution suitability, expected performance, and implementation constraints.

2. Water Sustainability & Efficiency

•Assess building and facility water consumption, distribution systems, operating patterns and key water-use areas.

•Identify opportunities for water conservation, demand reduction, flow optimization, leak reduction, and improved water management practices.

•Support the evaluation and deployment of water-efficiency technologies and solutions across commercial and industrial applications.

•Establish appropriate water-use baselines and monitor post-implementation consumption to quantify savings and operational impact.

•Translate water-consumption data into clear recommendations covering efficiency, cost reduction, and environmental outcomes.

3. Environmental Management & Sustainability Consulting

•Develop technical assessments, sustainability recommendations, and environmental improvement plans based on site findings and performance data.

•Support clients in understanding energy, water, carbon, and resource-efficiency impacts relevant to their facilities and operations.

•Contribute to environmental management initiatives, sustainability reporting inputs, performance indicators, and continuous-improvement programs where required.

•Keep abreast of relevant Singapore environmental, energy-efficiency,water-efficiency and built-environment requirements, standards and industry practices.

4. Data Analysis, Measurement & Verification

•Collect, organise and analyse utility bills, meter data, BMS trends, equipment readings and other operational datasets.

•Develop meaningful pre- and post-implementation comparisons, normalize data where appropriate, and identify abnormal performance trends.

•Prepare performance dashboards, calculations, technical summaries, charts, and management-ready reports that communicate findings accurately and concisely.

•Maintain disciplined documentation of assumptions, methodologies, site conditions, data sources, and project results.

5. Project Delivery & Stakeholder Coordination

•Coordinate with clients, facility managers, M&E contractors, technology partners, installers, and internal teams during assessment, implementation, and monitoring phases.

•Support site surveys, testing, commissioning, verification activities, and project handover as required.

•Track project actions, technical dependencies, data requirements, and follow-up items to ensure timely execution.

•Escalate technical risks, data gaps, or operational issues that could affect project performance or the credibility of reported savings.

6. Client Advisory & Commercial Support

•Present technical findings and sustainability recommendations to client stakeholders in a clear, commercially relevant manner.

•Support the preparation of proposals, technical scopes, feasibility assessments, case studies, and solution presentations.

•Provide technical input to business development activities, client meetings and project qualification when required.

•Help translate sustainability opportunities into practical implementation pathways with measurable operational and financial outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

•Diploma or degree in Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, Energy Management, Sustainability, Facilities Management or related discipline is preferred.

•Relevant experience in HVAC systems, energy management, water efficiency, environmental consulting, M&E engineering, facilities management, or sustainability projects is preferred.

•Good understanding of HVAC plant operation and/or building water systems, with the ability to interpret technical drawings, operating data, and site conditions.

•Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving capability with confidence working with spreadsheets, utility data, and performance calculations.

•Able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and produce professional written reports and presentations.

•Comfortable working on-site and travelling for project requirements when necessary.
