Network Infrastructure Specialist
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Hybrid Working Arrangement
- Working Location: Central
- Remuneration package: Up to $9,000 + AWS
Responsibilities
- Manage and support enterprise network infrastructure across on-premises data centres and AWS cloud environments.
- Support network connectivity, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting across AWS and hybrid cloud environments.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot incidents, and resolve network, infrastructure, application, and security issues to minimise downtime.
- Manage maintenance, firmware upgrades, security patches, and technology refreshes for firewalls, load balancers, switches, wireless controllers, and related equipment.
- Support network deployments, office moves, LAN/WAN, wireless, Internet, and structured cabling requirements.
- Work with internal teams, vendors, and service providers to resolve technical issues and meet SLAs.
- Maintain network documentation, SOPs, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements to improve operational efficiency and reliability.
- Support infrastructure projects, new deployments, and transition of systems into operations.
- Prepare operational reports and provide updates to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 4–6 years of experience in enterprise network infrastructure across wired and wireless environments.
- Strong knowledge of networking technologies, with experience in infrastructure security.
- Hands-on experience with network equipment, servers, Windows/Linux, structured cabling, and AWS/cloud environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across network and infrastructure environments.
- Experience with enterprise IT operations, governance, and security standards.
- CCNA, CCNP, ITIL, AWS certifications, or equivalent certifications are advantageous.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
