Job Summary

Manage daily operations by leading delivery teams, optimizing routes, and ensuring safe, accurate, and timely delivery of goods.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and evaluate delivery drivers and support staff to maintain high performance and service standards
• Assign and optimize delivery schedules and routes to maximize efficiency and ensure punctual deliveries
• Monitor daily delivery activities, track key performance metrics, and resolve delivery or logistics issues promptly
• Enforce vehicle maintenance standards, workplace safety protocols, and compliance with local driving regulations
• Handle escalated customer inquiries, complaints, and claims related to delayed or damaged orders with professionalism
• Communicate clearly with drivers and stakeholders to provide updates and instructions
• Make quick, effective decisions under pressure to manage delays or road incidents and minimize impact on delivery schedules

Required competencies and certifications

• Valid Class 3 driving license with a clean driving record
• At least 2 years of relevant experience

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in logistics, supply chain, dispatching, or fleet management
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and team-coordinating skills
• Proficiency with computer systems
