About this job

Key Job Accountabilities

  • Lead assigned R&D projects and technology development initiatives.
  • Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to achieve high performance, quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Design and execute experiments (DOE) to characterize, evaluate, and optimize new products, materials, processes, and technologies.
  • Conduct technical assessments and feasibility studies to support product and technology development.
  • Analyze process and product data to identify opportunities for improvement and establish robust process windows.
  • Evaluate and qualify new materials, equipment, manufacturing methods, and technologies.
  • Perform risk assessments and implement mitigation plans during technology and product development.
  • Support engineering builds, prototype runs, and qualification activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Quality, Equipment, Process Engineering, and Supply Chain to ensure successful project execution.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain technical documentation, reports, specifications, and development records.
  • Facilitate technology transfer and ensure smooth transition of developed solutions into volume manufacturing.
  • Provide technical support during product introduction and ramp-up phases to achieve stable production performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance yield, quality, productivity, and reliability.

Required Experience andQualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
  • Strong project planning, execution, monitoring, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of product development, process development, manufacturing principles, and quality systems.
  • Experience in Design of Experiments (DOE), statistical analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Familiarity with process characterization, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis methodologies.
  • Strong technical documentation and report-writing skills.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in the semiconductor, electronics, advanced manufacturing, or related industries is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel for training, project support, or technology transfer activities as required.
