Platform Engineer (DevOps) | 2-Year Contract | Public Sector | w/ Benefits & Bonuses (AWS | Loyalty | Performance Bonus up to 3 months)

The Role
This role is responsible to provide operations and support, administration and continuous improvement to the EAI platforms in Amazon Web Services cloud (AWS).

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, deploy and maintain secure cloud-native backend infrastructure on AWS.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IAC) solutions using CI/CD pipelines, Lambda Code, CloudFormation templates to provision and manage cloud infrastructure.
• Develop, manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing and deployment using AWS and DevOps or DevSecOps best practices.
• Manage infrastructure including VPC networking, security, routing, load balancing, DNS and connectivity. Infrastructure hardening in accordance with cloud security best practices for security and compliance.

What You Need

• 2-3 years hands-on experience with AWS implementation and administration

• 1-2 years working with DevOps / DevSecOps pipelines

• Strong scripting or programming ability (Python, Shell, or similar)

• Good communication and cross-team collaboration skills

Good to Have

• Experience with integration middleware or API management
• Familiarity with IT operations monitoring (OpsMon) tools: Splunk, Datadog, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana Labs

Salary Range: 5000-5500
