Finance Manager (8-month contract), International Hedge Fund

Our client is an international hedge fund that they covermulti-asset class investments and they leverage a technology-driven investmentapproach. They are looking for aFinance Manager, it is a 8-month contract role and the position is based inSingapore.

Key responsibilities

· Lead the month-end closing for financialreporting for Singapore and Hong Kong entities

· Partner closely with the business to preparemanagement reporting, budgets and forecasts

· Cover statutory reporting for the Singaporeentity, ensuring regulatory capital calculations and financial reporting inputsare accurate and on time

· Collaborate with the Tax team to manage incometax, GST, transfer pricing etc

· Cover treasury operations such as cash andcapital forecasting, liquidity, foreign exchange management

· Work with other finance team members to ensurethe smooth and efficient operations control

· Contribute to documentation and automationinitiatives

· Other ad-hoc duties related to finance andoperations when necessary

Key requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or otheraccounting qualifications

· At least 6 years of finance and accountingexperience in financial institutions such as hedge fund, investment tradingfirms, investment banking etc

· Solid experience in statutory reporting

· Good understanding on financial products

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills

· Motivated, detailed-oriented, independent

· With exposure or interests in working in atech-driven environment
