Craftsmen Studio — Singapore

We're a small studio that grows designers into well-rounded practitioners, and practitioners into leaders. You'll learn the whole craft here: how a design comes to life, how a site really works, how to talk to a client, and how a studio stays standing. If you want to build a real book and control your own earnings without starting from zero, this works.

How it works

• Full commission or hybrid structure, depending on what fits you
• You own your projects end to end — design, client relationship, and delivery — with the studio guiding the broad design direction
• Studio provides the tools and support behind your design work

What you'll do

• Take leads through consultation, proposal, and close
• Develop designs from concept through detail design and construction drawings
• Produce mood boards, perspectives, and renderings
• Coordinate subcontractors and consultants, and run your own project meetings
• See projects through construction — schedule, sequencing, and site quality
• Conduct site inspections and resolve design and technical coordination issues

What you bring

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
• Prior ID experience preferred — you should be comfortable in front of a client
• Fluent in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop; Enscape or SketchUp Layout a plus
• Self-driven, organised, and able to carry a project without being chased
• Full-time commitment
