Mobile App Tester (Lifestyle) - Remote/WFH

Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Entry-Level Remote Mobile App Tester to join our team. No prior QA or software testing experience is required—we provide full hands-on training! You will learn how to evaluate and test consumer-facing lifestyle apps (wellness, habit tracking, daily productivity tools) on iOS and Android devices, ensuring our users enjoy a seamless experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Learn & Execute: Follow provided test plans and guided instructions to check mobile app features, buttons, screens, and flows on your mobile devices.

• Identify & Log Issues: Find visual glitches, broken links, app crashes, or functional bugs and report them using clear written descriptions and screenshots.

• Provide Usability Feedback: Share your perspective as an everyday user on how intuitive, easy, and pleasant the app feels to use.

• Retest Fixes: Re-evaluate previously reported bugs after our engineering team updates the app to confirm the issue is resolved.

• Team Collaboration: Communicate with test leads and developers to clarify testing steps and share feedback.

Qualifications & Requirements

• No Prior QA Experience Needed: We provide all the initial training and tools you need to succeed.

• Device Access: Personal access to a modern iOS device (iPhone) and/or Android smartphone running a recent OS version.

• Attention to Detail: High curiosity and a sharp eye for noticing small mistakes, design misalignments, or unusual app behaviour.

• Clear Communication: Good written English skills to accurately write down the steps needed to reproduce a bug.

• Reliable Internet & Remote Setup: A stable internet connection and the discipline to manage your time effectively in a work-from-home setting.

Nice-to-Haves (Not Required)

• A passion for everyday mobile apps (fitness, daily planners, habit trackers, self-care tools).

• Basic familiarity with spreadsheet software (Google Sheets / Excel) or team communication tools like Slack.
