Food Laboratory Assistant

Job Description

• Prepare and portion ingredients for NFS practical lessons.
• Maintain food safety, cleanliness and tidiness of Food Labs.
• Manage food orders, deliveries and ingredient storage.
• Conduct inventory and stock-taking of ingredients and consumables.
• Assist with school events, projects and competitions.
• Maintain equipment and kitchen supplies.
• Perform other duties assigned by FCE teachers

Requirements

• PSLE Certificate.
• SFA Food Safety Course Level 1 certification.
• Able to read and communicate in English.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant kitchen experience.
• Knowledge of food handling and ingredient portioning.
• A positive team player with good communication skills.
• Able to work independently and take initiative
