LOGISTICS PROJECT MANAGER

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Logistics Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and manage logistics operations for company projects. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth transportation, manpower coordination, delivery scheduling, site logistics, vendor management, and overall project execution.

The Logistics Project Manager will work closely with clients, suppliers, drivers, site supervisors, warehouse teams, and management to ensure that all logistics activities are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate daily logistics operations, including transportation, delivery schedules, manpower deployment, and project requirements.

Plan and monitor project timelines to ensure materials, equipment, vehicles, and manpower are available as required.

Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers, drivers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Supervise loading, unloading, delivery, storage, and distribution activities.

Prepare work schedules, route plans, delivery instructions, and project progress updates.

Monitor project costs, logistics expenses, vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and manpower allocation.

Ensure all logistics activities comply with company policies, workplace safety requirements, and project site regulations.

Manage drivers, operators, logistics assistants, and subcontractors involved in project operations.

Resolve operational issues such as delays, vehicle breakdowns, delivery problems, manpower shortages, or site access matters.

Maintain proper documentation, including delivery orders, project reports, attendance records, invoices, permits, and related logistics documents.

Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and logistics arrangements.

Liaise with management and provide regular reports on project status, operational performance, and improvement plans.

Ensure vehicles, equipment, and project resources are properly maintained and used efficiently.

Support business development by assisting in project planning, quotation preparation, and client coordination when required.

Job Requirements

Diploma, Degree, or relevant professional qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Business Management, Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in logistics operations, transport coordination, project management, warehouse management, construction logistics, or related industries.

Strong knowledge of logistics planning, transportation management, manpower coordination, and project execution.

Able to manage multiple projects and daily operations in a fast-paced working environment.

Good communication and coordination skills to liaise with clients, suppliers, contractors, drivers, and internal departments.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage drivers, workers, subcontractors, and project teams.

Good problem-solving skills and ability to handle urgent operational issues.

Able to prepare reports, schedules, work plans, delivery records, and project documentation.

Knowledge of workplace safety, vehicle operations, site logistics, and compliance requirements will be an advantage.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, email communication, and basic project/logistics tracking systems.

Must be responsible, independent, organized, and able to work under pressure.

Willing to work flexible hours, weekends, or public holidays when project operations require.

Class 3 driving licence will be an added advantage.

Preferred Skills

Project coordination and logistics planning experience.

Knowledge of Singapore road routes, delivery planning, and site access procedures.

Experience in managing drivers, transport fleets, manpower deployment, or site logistics.

Ability to handle client requirements professionally and maintain good working relationships.

Strong time management, documentation, and reporting skills.
