Interior Designer / Sales Designer

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and creative interior designer / sales designer to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting clients, understanding their requirements, preparing interior design proposals and quotations, and coordinating projects from design stage through completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet and communicate with clients to understand their renovation and interior design requirements.
• Develop creative and practical interior design concepts according to clients needs and budget.
• Prepare 2D/3D drawings, layouts, mood boards and design proposals.
• Prepare quotations, material selections and project proposals
• Present design concepts and quotations to clients and follow up on enquiries.
• Assist in converting enquiries into confirmed projects
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Conduct site visits and take measurements where required
• Monitor project progress and resolve design or site related issues.
• Ensure designs are practical, within budget and suitable for site conditions.
• Maintain good relationships with clients, suppliers and contractors.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Archtectural Design or a related field
• Previous experience in interior design, renovation or sales design is preferred.
• Good knowledge of renovation materials, finishes, fixtures and construction methods
• Able to read and understand floor plans and technical drawings
• Proficient in relavant design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D rendering software or equivalent
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Customer-oriented, responsible and self-motivated
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Candidates with strong sales experience and a good understanding of interior design are encouraged to apply
