Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Advisory & Construction
Develop customized investment portfolios aligned to clients' financial goals, investment horizons, liquidity needs, and risk tolerance.
Recommend strategic and tactical asset allocation across equities, fixed income, alternatives, structured products, and multi-asset solutions.
Conduct portfolio reviews and identify opportunities to improve portfolio diversification, risk-adjusted returns, and overall positioning.
Monitor portfolio performance and provide timely rebalancing recommendations in response to changing market conditions.
Investment Strategy & Market Insights
Interpret and communicate the CIO's house views, macroeconomic outlook, and investment themes to clients and Senior Client Advisors (SCAs).
Analyze global market developments, economic trends, and geopolitical events to assess portfolio implications.
Formulate investment strategies and tactical opportunities across asset classes and sectors.
Produce investment commentaries and portfolio recommendations for client discussions.
Client Engagement
Participate in client meetings alongside Senior Client Advisors (SCAs) to present investment strategies and portfolio recommendations.
Build credibility and trusted advisor status with sophisticated HNW and UHNW clients.
Articulate complex investment concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
Support client acquisition and retention efforts through differentiated investment advice.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
Partner closely with Senior Client Advisors (SCAs) to identify investment opportunities and address client needs.
Work with product specialists to evaluate investment solutions and ensure suitability for clients.
Collaborate with Investment Advisors, Treasury, and Capital Markets teams on bespoke client solutions.
Support internal training initiatives by sharing market insights and investment knowledge.
Risk Management & Governance
Ensure all portfolio recommendations comply with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and suitability standards.
Assess portfolio risk exposures, concentration risks, and asset allocation deviations.
Maintain high standards of documentation and investment rationale.
Adhere to all compliance, conduct, and fiduciary responsibilities.
Qualifications & ExperienceEducation
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
Master's degree or MBA is advantageous.
Professional Certifications
One or more of the following is preferred:
CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst)
CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst)
CFP (Certified Financial Planner)
FRM (Financial Risk Manager)
Experience
5-10+ years of experience in private banking, wealth management, institutional asset management, investment advisory, or portfolio management.
Strong understanding of global financial markets and investment products.
Experience working with HNW/UHNW clients is highly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to formulate and communicate investment strategies.
