We are seeking a Finance Business Partner, Business Controlling to serve as the crucial link between financial performance and operational execution. In this position, you will report directly to global leadership, translating complex financial data into actionable insights that drive decision-making, enhance cost efficiency, and improve forecast accuracy.

In this role, you will drive the annual budget, quarterly outlooks, and monthly forecasting cycles for global industrial operations in Singapore, including detailed variance and trend analysis. You will partner closely with operational and cross-functional stakeholders to connect financial outcomes directly with business performance. Your focus will be on producing precise financial management reports, ensuring data integrity through hands-on validation, and evaluating business spend and capital expenditure using actual versus standard cost analyses across various product lines. Furthermore, you will spearhead cost-optimization initiatives by delivering deep-dive analytics on productivity and key cost drivers, while also supporting month-end closing procedures and facilitating grant audits. Championing process improvements, you will leverage platforms like SAP, Anaplan, and Power BI, alongside AI tools and technologies, to elevate financial modeling, automation, and overall forecast accuracy.
skills and experience required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
- Relevant years of relevant experience spanning financial accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
- Solid grasp of corporate finance principles with a proven capability to translate large datasets into strategic business decisions.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and SAP (ECC or S/4HANA).
- Hands-on expertise with Power BI, Anaplan, or similar business intelligence and forecasting tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, paired with a track record of effective collaboration across global, matrixed organizations.
- Prior exposure to complex, fast-paced industrial or high-mix equipment environments is highly advantageous.
