Tender Management Manager, Asia Pacific – Air & Ocean

Job Summary:
The Tender Management Manager, Asia Pacific – Air & Ocean, coordinates regional and global pricing tenders, RFPs and RFIs for multinational customers across APAC. The role acts as the central coordination point between regional commercial, pricing and operational teams to ensure accurate, competitive and timely tender submissions.

The role covers international Air Freight, Ocean Freight and Cross-Border Express solutions, with regular coordination with China-based gateway and network teams on operational, capacity and pricing inputs.

Job Description:

• Coordinate end-to-end tender activities, including timelines, requirements, pricing inputs and final submissions.
• Partner with APAC commercial and pricing teams to consolidate country-level rates and commercial inputs.
• Review RFP/RFI documentation and identify customer requirements, pricing rules, mandatory charges and submission requirements.
• Consolidate, standardise and validate freight rates, surcharges, handling charges, currencies and other pricing data.
• Perform data quality checks and resolve discrepancies with relevant country pricing, commercial and operational teams.
• Prepare and submit final rate sheets and commercial responses through customer e-procurement platforms such as Ariba, Jaggaer or similar systems.
• Coordinate with China-based gateway, network and operations teams to obtain operational, capacity and cost inputs where required.
• Maintain accurate tender records, submission outcomes, customer feedback and standard response materials.
• Support continuous improvement of tender processes, templates and data management practices.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Business, Business Administration, Data Analytics or a related discipline.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in tender management, freight pricing, commercial operations or sales support within international logistics or freight forwarding.
• Good knowledge of international Air Freight, Ocean Freight (FCL/LCL) and Cross-Border Express, including Incoterms and freight pricing structures.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP and Power Query, with strong data analysis and data management capabilities.
• Strong written and spoken English for regional stakeholder and customer communication.
• Professional proficiency in spoken and written Mandarin is required for regular communication with China-based gateway, network and operational stakeholders on operational, capacity, pricing and data-related matters.
• Strong stakeholder management, coordination and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines across different time zones.
• Detail-oriented, analytical and proactive, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced regional environment.
