Executive Director / Director – Structured Trade & Sector Solutions Sales

A leading international bank is looking for a senior sales professional to drive Structured Trade Products and sector-specific solutions across Asia Pacific.

The Role

You'll partner closely with Sector Bankers and Relationship Managers across the region to identify client needs and build tailored trade and sector solutions. This includes structuring, selling, and rolling out solutions, then replicating successful deals across similar clients and sectors. You'll work cross-functionally with Legal, Compliance, Credit Risk, Treasury, and Product teams to ensure solutions are commercially competitive and well-risk-managed.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and execute the regional strategy for Sector Solutions and Structured Trade
• Act as the go-to expert for Sector Bankers/RMs, joining client calls to shape and pitch solutions
• Own P&L growth for the sector desk, including RoRA performance on structured trade products
• Cross-sell with FX and Cash teams via product bundling
• Lead on deal execution - pitches, structuring, credit papers, and legal documentation
• Track market and industry shifts to flag portfolio risks and spot new opportunities

What You'll Need

• 15+ years in trade finance and structuring across multiple industries/sectors
• Strong grasp of corporate credit and cross-border trade regulation in APAC
• Credibility with Sales, Credit, and Legal stakeholders
• Comfort juggling multiple live deals and workstreams
• Management experience a plus, not essential
