Workshop Technician

Responsibilities:
● Perform thorough testing on autonomous robots, identify and troubleshoot errors or
failures, and implement appropriate solutions to resolve the issues promptly.
● Handle comprehensive repairs and maintenance tasks for the robots within the workshop
environment.
● Conduct regular maintenance activities as per the established SOPs and guidelines to
address any breakdowns or equipment failures.
● Travel occasionally to customer sites to perform on-site troubleshooting and urgent
repairs when necessary, although the vast majority of duties will be conducted within the
workshop.
● Responsible for documenting detailed service and fault reports, including accurately
recording the details of the service provided, issues encountered, and the actions taken
to resolve them.
● Submit service and fault reports to superiors and key individuals within the organization
for review and analysis.
● Maintain detailed records of all tasks related to service, including updating internal
service records and ensuring all documentation is completed in a timely manner.
● Ensure the robot is fully commissioned, set up, and ready for operation before being
deployed from the workshop.
Requirements:
● Minimum Nitec, Higher Nitec, or Diploma in Engineering or other related fields.
● At least 2 years of experience in servicing electronic and mechanical equipment /
machines.
● Basic knowledge and hands-on proficiency in handling mechanical, electrical, and
electronic tools.
● Proven experience with troubleshooting and debugging hardware, electronics, and
software.
● Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced
environments.
● Strong communication skills in English (both oral and written) to document processes and
explain complex technical concepts.
● Able to work independently and as part of a harmonious and effective team.
● Able to perform simple network configuration.
