Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Senior Checker to support our warehouse operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accurate documentation, inventory records and timely shipment fulfilment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and liaise with Customer Service Representatives (CSR) and transporters on day-to-day operational matters and order planning.
  • Act as the focal point for inbound and outbound shipment enquiries.
  • Coordinate internally to ensure orders and shipments are fulfilled accurately and on time.
  • Check and ensure incoming and outgoing shipments are completed in a timely and orderly manner.
  • Verify shipment documentation for accuracy and ensure timely submission and proper record retention.
  • Support cycle count administration and inventory tracking.
  • Oversee shipment arrangements, cargo release and shipment closure.
  • Prepare, consolidate and submit accurate operational reports and data to relevant stakeholders.
  • Consolidate requirements for operating consumables.
  • Ensure receiving non-conformances and exceptions are identified and reported promptly.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and support the implementation of improvement initiatives.
  • Perform other warehouse operational duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum GCE A Level or Diploma.
  • At least 1 year of relevant warehouse operations or customer service experience.
  • Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Familiarity with RF scanners and/or Ring Scanners.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience in inventory tracking, shipment documentation and operational reporting will be an advantage.
  • Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to handle operational issues effectively.
  • Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Positive attitude, team player and willing to learn.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical and adaptable.
