  • Identify opportunities to improve production processes, efficiency, quality, and overall workflow.
  • Take on line leadership responsibilities when the Line Leader is unavailable.
  • Ensure production personnel follow established safety, quality, assembly, testing, and GMP requirements.

  • Assist Technicians and Engineers with first-level analysis of defective materials, equipment issues, and production yield concerns.
  • Support controlled experiments and evaluation runs to resolve equipment-related quality and yield issues.
  • Participate in process improvement, Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform ERP transactions and support accurate material kitting to meet production requirements.
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to support the development and execution of effective kitting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable quality management systems, ISO 13485, cGMP, MDSAP, safety requirements, and relevant procedures.

What We’re Looking For

  • Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering with at least 3 years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment; OR
  • NTC / ITE qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • At least 3–5 years of experience working within a regulated production environment operating under quality systems such as ISO 13485, cGMP, or applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Practical knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical engineering principles.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities with a meticulous approach to work.
  • Ability to understand production Bills of Materials (BOM) and their relationship to manufacturing processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience supporting new product transfers will be advantageous.
  • Experience working in an ISO 13485 and cGMP environment, including audit exposure, will be an advantage.
  • Proactive, collaborative, and comfortable working in a hands-on production environment.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

Why Consider This Role?

This is an opportunity to take on more than routine production work. You’ll be involved in technical troubleshooting, team coordination, training, process improvement, quality systems, and new product activities—making it a strong fit for someone looking to build broader capabilities in regulated instrument manufacturing.
