R&D Lab Technician (Chemical Mfg)

The Role

Reporting directly to the R&D Manager, you will support the scientific team in the development, testing, and scale-up of new products.

Key responsibilities:

• Preparing developmental samples and conducting product performance testing.

• Operating and performing routine maintenance on laboratory equipment.

• Managing chemical inventory, storage, and laboratory consumables.

• Collecting data to organize and issue formal, professional reports using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Performing hands-on laboratory work while strictly adhering to safety protocols and wearing required personal protective equipment.

Requirements:

• A Diploma or Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Science, or a related technology field.

• Prior relevant experience; a background in the coating, paint, or adhesive industries is highly advantageous.

• Demonstrated familiarity with handling chemicals and raw materials.
