Job Summary

This role is suited to a regulatory compliance or legal professional with a strong proven track record in financial services and digital asset compliance operations who is passionate about applying that expertise to a dynamic, high-growth environment. You will assist in the day-to-day operation of our compliance and financial crime frameworks and the ongoing maintenance of our global licence portfolio.

Responsibilities

Licence Maintenance and Regulatory Engagement

  • Own the day-to-day maintenance of the Group’s existing licences, ensuring ongoing adherence to licence conditions and regulatory obligations across all entities and jurisdictions.
  • Maintain the Group-wide compliance calendar and prepare, submit, and track periodic regulatory filings, reports, and licence renewals, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Manage routine correspondence with financial regulators and act as a key point of contact during regulatory enquiries, audits, and supervisory engagements.

AML & Financial Crime Operations

  • Conduct KYC/KYB reviews and periodic customer due diligence refreshes in line with Group standards.
  • Investigate and disposition transaction monitoring alerts within agreed SLAs, with clear and well-documented rationale, and support STR/SAR preparation where required.
  • Perform sanctions and PEP screening reviews and the disposition of screening hits.
  • Support third-party and counterparty onboarding due diligence.
  • Assist with entity-level AML risk assessments and the upkeep of AML policies and registers, working closely with the Group AML Manager.

Compliance Framework

  • Support the development, implementation, and upkeep of the Group’s compliance and risk management frameworks in line with applicable legislation and regulatory expectations.
  • Draft, review, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and operational guidelines to ensure consistency across business units.
  • Coordinate with external counsel on complex regulatory matters where required.

Requirements

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in regulatory compliance, AML/financial crime, or governance within financial institutions, fintech, or digital asset platforms, with hands-on experience in licence maintenance and AML.
  • Prior experience with OTC trading, crypto exchanges or payment is highly valued.
  • Self-starter capable of creating processes from the ground up and working autonomously in a high-growth setting.
