Assistant AIoT Field Application Engineer (FAE)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive AIoT Field Application Engineer (FAE) who combines technical hands-on capability with a business-driven mindset. In this role, you will actively reach out to prospective clients, present tailored AIoT solutions, and lead directly on site to deploy, test, and troubleshoot systems.

Key responsibilities

• Actively identify, contact, and engage prospective clients alongside business teams; translate client pain points into actionable technical sales opportunities
• Draft, present, and demo comprehensive AIoT, hardware/software, and automation solutions for prospective and existing customers
• Lead hands-on deployment, system integration, commissioning, performance tuning, and technical troubleshooting on client sites
• Coordinate technical resources and manage customer expectations throughout the project lifecycle to ensure seamless sign-off

About you

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Computer Engineering, or related fields
• Strong commercial awareness with a drive to initiate customer contact, run live technical presentations, and build technical trust
• Solid understanding of embedded systems, sensors, control electronics, automation protocols, or IoT device management
• Willingness to travel to client sites and work under pressure in dynamic field environments
