Senior Sales Engineer (Materials & Metrology)

Role Summary
This role is responsible for driving sales growth, business development, and strategic customer engagement for Materials and Metrology solutions across Singapore and Malaysia. Focus areas include semiconductor metrology, inspection, failure analysis, quality control, and advanced materials characterization.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Development & Strategy: Identify new business opportunities and monitor market trends, customer investments, and competitor activities.

• Full Sales Cycle Management: Manage end-to-end sales processes from lead generation and technical discussions to solution proposals, negotiations, order follow-ups, and customer acceptance.

• Key Account & Distributor Management: Build relationships with semiconductor end-users, research institutes, universities, and manufacturing clients, while managing distributor sales plans and forecasts.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with internal application specialists, service engineers, R&D, and overseas factories to deliver customized technical-commercial solutions.

• Marketing Support: Support trade shows, seminars, product demonstrations, technical presentations, and workshops.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Materials Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or a relevant technical discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of technical or application sales experience in semiconductor metrology, analytical instruments, inspection systems, or failure analysis.

• Proven track record in managing direct end-user sales and distributor networks.

• Ability to understand technical requirements and recommend suitable metrology and analytical solutions.

• Willingness to travel across Southeast Asia for customer visits, business meetings, and exhibitions.
