Supervisor, Production Semi-con

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and lead Production Operators and Technicians to achieve daily manufacturing targets while meeting quality and safety standards.
• Supervise daily production activities and monitor overall operational performance.
• Manage cross-training programmes to improve employees’ technical skills and job knowledge.
• Ensure all required check sheets and records are properly completed before, during and after production activities.
• Maintain workplace discipline, good housekeeping and safe working practices.
• Identify production-floor risks and operational gaps, and implement appropriate control measures.
• Lead productivity and continuous-improvement projects.
• Coordinate effectively with other departments to support production requirements.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• At least three years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or contract-manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience leading a team of more than 50 Production Operators or Technicians.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook and SAP.
• Good understanding of LEAN manufacturing concepts.
• Strong leadership, communication and relationship-management skills.
• Good analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Positive attitude and able to work independently under pressure.
• Able to meet operational deadlines.
• Able to work eight-hour day and night shifts.
