Mon-Sun, 5.5 days/week; 44h/week
Location: Seletar Mall, Anchorpoint, Parkway Parade

Responsibilities

• Prepare sushi, sashimi, and a variety of cooked dishes using fish, meats, poultry, vegetables, and other ingredients.
• Bake, grill, steam, and deep-fry food items according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Prepare and portion ingredients to support daily operations while minimising food wastage.
• Ensure food presentation and portion sizes consistently meet company standards.
• Inspect ingredients and finished products to maintain freshness and quality.
• Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as required.
• Pack and label sashimi and related food products accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, equipment, and kitchen areas.
• Handle and store ingredients at appropriate temperatures to prevent spoilage.
• Uphold food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Train and guide junior team members to maintain quality and operational standards.
• Greet customers and provide a welcoming dining experience in an open-concept restaurant environment.
• Support additional kitchen duties as assigned by the Chef.

Requirements

• Approximately 3 years of cooking experience in sushi, Chinese, Western, or similar restaurant environments.
• Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Experience in managing or supervising a team is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Mandarin language is an added advantage for communicating with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders in the course of work.
