Lift Technical Manager

Job Summary

Lead and oversee technical and supervisory activities for lift installation, testing, commissioning, repair, and maintenance to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards while supporting project execution and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical planning and execution for lift installation, testing, commissioning, repair, and maintenance to ensure project success
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot lift system and site issues to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency
• Supervise and guide engineers, supervisors, and technicians to achieve high-quality workmanship and adherence to standards
• Ensure all works comply with safety requirements, technical specifications, and applicable regulatory standards to maintain site safety and legal compliance
• Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities to facilitate smooth project delivery
• Review technical drawings, method statements, and project requirements to verify accuracy and feasibility
• Support project execution and quality control by resolving technical issues promptly and ensuring timely completion

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or related discipline
• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant lift/elevator industry experience in senior technical or supervisory roles
• Strong knowledge of lift installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance practices
• Good understanding of lift electrical, control, and mechanical systems
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects or sites simultaneously

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Familiarity with Singapore lift regulations and safety requirements
• Relevant lift industry certifications or registrations
