Safety Officer

• Drive workplace safety standards across project sites, ensuring operations meet applicable Singapore WSH and environmental requirements.
• Maintain the organisation’s safety framework, including procedures, records, reporting systems and site-level compliance controls.
• Conduct regular site surveillance, identifying unsafe conditions, behavioural risks and gaps in work practices, with timely corrective actions.
• Lead risk management activities, including hazard identification, risk assessments, control measures and periodic reviews for ongoing works.
• Manage safety engagement programmes, covering inductions, toolbox sessions, briefings, awareness campaigns and mandatory competency training.
• Coordinate incident response, including investigation of accidents, near misses and dangerous occurrences, followed by root-cause review and preventive actions.
• Support audits and inspections, prepare compliance documentation, track findings and ensure outstanding safety issues are properly closed.
• Work closely with project stakeholders, including site management, contractors, consultants, clients and relevant government agencies on WSH matters.
• Monitor safety performance across projects, reviewing trends, inspection findings and key indicators to identify areas requiring improvement.
• Support continuous safety improvement, including emergency preparedness, safety committee activities, management reporting and implementation of company-wide initiatives.
