CARPENTER

Job Description & Requirements

• Measure, cut, and assemble wood, plywood, and other materials for furniture, cabinetry, and other wood structures with precision
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical specifications to ensure accurate construction
• Operate power tools, hand tools, and measurement equipment safely and effectively (e.g., saws, hammers, rulers)
• Cut and shape timber or other materials according to specific measurements and job requirements
• Perform installation and finishing work for custom-made furniture and fittings
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
• Ensure work is completed to a high standard of quality and within the project timeline

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in furniture carpentry or related field
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings or blueprints
• Good physical condition and ability to perform manual work
• Familiar with safe handling and operation of carpentry tools and machinery
• Positive working attitude, responsible, and a good team player
