Senior Quantity Surveyor

• Position: Senior Quantity Surveyor

• Location: Tuas

• Working hours: Monday to Friday (8am - 5pm), Saturday (8am - 12pm)

• Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $7,000 Monthly Basic Salary + Performance Bonus + Medical Benefits

• Duration: Permanent

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying duties for construction projects.

• Prepare BOQs, quantity take-offs, tender submissions and quotations.

• Source, evaluate and negotiate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.

• Manage variation orders, progress claims, subcontractor claims and final accounts.

• Coordinate with Construction, Design, Contracts and Tender teams on RFQs and project matters.

• Monitor project cost movements and update budgets and cost projections.

• Review drawings, costings and monthly claims to support timely project delivery.

• Ensure contract administration complies with applicable Singapore SMM and PSSCOC requirements.

• Maintain accurate commercial records, supporting documents and cost reports.

• Perform other related QS duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction or a related discipline.

• At least five years of relevant Quantity Surveying experience in the construction industry.

• Strong hands-on experience in pre- and post-contract administration.

• Experience preparing BOQs, quantity take-offs, claims, variation orders and final accounts.

• Tender experience would be advantageous.

• Familiar with Singapore SMM and PSSCOC requirements.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong numerical/analytical skills.

• Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with project, contracts and subcontractor teams.
