Process Technician /Engineer (Food Production Equipment) - Up to $4000 | BEDOK

• Position : Process Technician /Engineer (Food Production Equipment)
• Location : Bedok North
• Working hours : 5.5 days (Monday - Friday: 8:30am-5:30pm), Saturday (8:30am to 1:00pm)
• Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $4000 + Overtime + AWS
• Duration : Permanent
• Industry : Food Manufacturer

Main Responsibilities:

• Support daily food processing and production operations.
• Operate production equipment including conveyors, continuous fryers and hot-oil filtration systems.
• Monitor production processes and perform basic product quality checks.
• Carry out basic equipment inspections, cleaning and routine maintenance.
• Identify and report machinery abnormalities or production issues.
• Perform food preparation activities including mixing, blending, cutting, washing and frying.
• Support packing, cleaning and general production activities when required.
• Maintain food hygiene, workplace safety and quality standards.
• Work with the production team to minimize equipment downtime and maintain production output.

Requirements

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, Professional Certificate or Diploma in Food Processing, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in food manufacturing, production or food-processing operations will be advantageous.
• Experience operating production machinery will be preferred.
• Comfortable performing hands-on production and equipment-related duties.
• Able to support basic equipment inspection and troubleshooting.
• Able to work a 5.5-day week, including Saturday mornings.
• Entry-level candidates with relevant technical qualifications are welcome to apply.
