Tamil Preschool Educator | Early Childhood Learning Specialist #HDCE

As a Tamil Preschool Educator, you will be responsible for planning and delivering age-appropriate Tamil language lessons, preparing creative learning resources, and supporting children’s overall development through effective teaching practices and daily care routines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct engaging Tamil language lessons for preschool children using a variety of teaching approaches aligned with curriculum guidelines.
• Plan and prepare creative learning activities, teaching resources, and classroom materials to support children’s development.
• Set up and maintain enriching learning environments that encourage exploration and curiosity.
• Observe and track children’s progress while maintaining accurate developmental records.
• Ensure children’s safety, well-being, and emotional needs are supported throughout their learning journey.
• Build positive relationships with children through nurturing and meaningful interactions.
• Support daily classroom routines and administrative duties.
• Participate actively in centre activities, events, and learning experiences such as educational outings.
• Collaborate with parents and the community to encourage children’s holistic growth and development.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education – Teaching (DECCE-T) or equivalent qualification.
• Ability to deliver preschool lessons and communicate effectively in Tamil, as the role involves teaching the Tamil language to preschool children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about early childhood education and committed to nurturing children’s learning journey.
• A collaborative team player with a positive attitude.

Candidates with a minimum Diploma qualification in other fields and an interest in early childhood education may also be considered for an Assistant Childcare Educator role.
