Cybersecurity Engineer (Security Solutions)

Our client, an established technology solutions provider, is expanding its cybersecurity and infrastructure team to support enterprise customers and large-scale projects.

The successful candidate will be involved in the implementation, support, and technical advisory of security and networking solutions.

Applicants are required to indicate ONE primary area of specialisation in their application:

Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Specialisations:

• Tanium – Endpoint management and security solutions
• Trellix – Endpoint security solutions
• Check Point – Network security and firewall solutions
• Arista – Network infrastructure and switching solutions
• SIEM – Security monitoring and threat management solutions
• Trend Micro – Cybersecurity and endpoint protection solutions

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and advisory services for assigned cybersecurity or infrastructure solutions.
• Assist in solution implementation, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting activities.
• Work closely with customers and internal teams to understand requirements and deliver suitable technical solutions.
• Perform system monitoring, issue investigation, and provide recommendations to improve security and infrastructure performance.
• Support project deployment activities, documentation, and post-implementation support.
• Keep updated on emerging technologies and security trends to support continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, network infrastructure, endpoint management, or IT systems support.
• Experience in at least one of the following areas:Endpoint security solutions (Trellix / Trend Micro)Endpoint management platforms (Tanium)Network security solutions (Check Point)Enterprise network infrastructure (Arista)Security monitoring and SIEM platforms
• Good understanding of IT infrastructure, networking concepts, and cybersecurity principles.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills with the ability to engage customers and stakeholders.
