Guest Experience Lead, Concierge (The Laurus)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a personable and service-oriented Doorman to join our team. This role is responsible for creating exceptional first and last impressions by warmly welcoming guests, assisting with arrivals and departures, and ensuring a seamless flow of vehicles and guests at the hotel entrance. You’ll play a key role in delivering attentive and personalized service while maintaining a professional presence that reflects the hotel’s luxury standards

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests upon arrival and departure with a warm,
  professional and courteous demeanor.
• Open vehicle and entrance doors for guests and provide
  assistance as required.
• Assist guests with directions, transportation arrangements and
  general inquiries.
• Coordinate closely with Concierge, Butler and Front Office teams to ensure seamless guest arrivals and departures.
• Recognize returning guests and VIP guests, ensuring appropriate acknowledgements and personalized greetings.
• Manage vehicle arrivals and departures efficiently to maintain
  smooth traffic flow at the hotel entrance.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization and presentation of the hotel entrance and driveway areas.
• Observe guest needs proactively and provide assistance in a
  timely and professional manner.
• Support luggage assistance when required during peak
  operational periods.
• Uphold grooming, etiquette and brand standards at all times.
• Report operational concerns, guest feedback and unusual incidents promptly to supervisors or management.
• Perform other reasonable duties assigned by supervisors or
  management.

Requirements:

• Minimum GCE 'O' Level or equivalent.
• Previous experience in hospitality, guest services, concierge,
  luxury retail or customer-facing roles is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, approachable and service-oriented personality.
• Well-groomed and professional appearance.
• Knowledge of local attractions and transportation services is an advantage.
